The Government of Canada has announced more than $950,000 in funding through the Tourism Growth Program to support five organizations in Northern British Columbia. The funding aims to enhance outdoor recreation, promote smaller communities, and extend the tourism season. Supported projects include upgrades to ice and roller rinks, a golf course, the North Coast Ecology Centre Society, and various campground amenities.
