Education: Other trades certificate or diploma. Tasks: Replace and repair electrical controls and panel boxes. Install underground wiring and cables. Install surface mount and/or overhead cables. Estimate costs and materials. Read and interpret blueprints, maps, drawings and specifications. Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses : Electrician Trade Certification. Working at heights training. Occupational Health and Safety Certificate. Confined Space Entry Training. Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) Certificate. Apprenticeship training: Level three apprenticeship training. Level four apprenticeship training. Level five apprenticeship training. Security and safety: Basic security clearance. Criminal record check. Transportation/travel information: Own vehicle. Valid driver's licence. Travel expenses paid by employer. Own tools/equipment: Tools. Steel-toed safety boots. Screening questions: Do you have previous experience in this field of employment?. Do you have the above-indicated required certifications?. Experience: 3 years to less than 5 years.
