Education: Master's degree. Speech-language pathology/pathologist. Audiology/audiologist and speech-language pathology/pathologist. or equivalent experience. Work setting: Private practice. Tasks: Conduct speech-language tests and examinations. Develop, plan and implement remedial programs to correct speech, voice, language, resonance, cognitive-linguistic and swallowing disorders. Provide advice and educational services to patients and families regarding communication and swallowing disorders. Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses : Canadian Association of Speech-Language Pathologists and Audiologists Certification. Licensure by provincial or territorial authorities.
