The language comes from the land, and it has been this way since time immemorial.<p><p> <p>Le Conseil scolaire de Mission est situé sur les terres traditionnelles, ancestrales, non cédées et partagées du peuple Stó:lo, des Premières nations, Leq'á:mel, Sema:th, Matheqwí, Sq'éwlets et Qwó:ltl'el, peuples de cette terre depuis des temps immémoriaux.<p><p> <p>We invite applications for the positions of:<p><p> <p> <p>School: Student Services Department<p>Position: Speech and Language Pathologist<p>FTE: .80 (4 days per week)<p>Grade: All <p>Status: Temporary<p>Start Date: ASAP<p> <p>Schedule: 4 days per week <p>Please note there is flexibility in the workdays, and they may be changed in consultation with the Director and the Human Resources Department.<p> <p>Qualifications:<p><p> Master?s Degree in Speech Language Pathology<p> Applicant must be registered with the College of Speech and Hearing Health Professionals of BC (CSHHPBC)<p> Minimum 2 years? experience working in the field is preferred<p> Must be eligible for membership in the Canadian Association of Speech Language Pathologist and Audiologists (CASLPA) and/or British Columbia Association of Speech Language Pathologist and Audiologist ( BCASLPA)<p> Recent successful experience working with school-aged students and students with special needs (low incidence)<p><p>Job duties:<p><p> Comprehensive diagnostic and direct therapy to school-aged children with a variety of communication disorders<p> Act as a resource for teachers, educational assistants and parents<p><p> <p>For your application to be considered, all required documents must be included with your application which include: <p><p> resume<p> cover letter<p><p>The starting annual salary for this position ranges from $57,972-$106,217, with placement on the range based on length of service, FTE and qualifications in accordance with the Collective Agreement.<p>Please be sure that you have received a confirmation from Make a Future that you have applied to a specific posting.
