This role promotes strategic collaboration, innovation, transparency, and service excellence to support enterprise outcomes and improve service delivery to citizens. The ideal candidate is a collaborative, adaptable, and outcomes-focused leader who builds strong relationships with senior stakeholders and influences decision-making without authority. They demonstrate accountability, innovation, inclusiveness, and the ability to work through ambiguity while fostering trust and shared ownership across business and IT partners. Strong communication and facilitation skills are required to engage executive audiences and translate complex concepts into clear business language. Key knowledge and qualifications include expertise in relationship management, stakeholder engagement, IT service and portfolio management, governance, strategic planning, and business case development. Candidates should understand financial concepts such as ROI and TCO and have strong business acumen with awareness of industry trends. Skills in negotiation, conflict resolution, and value realization are required, along with the ability to interpret technical architecture and connect business needs to IT solutions. A degree in a related field and 5+ years of experience are expected; certifications such as BRMP or project/portfolio management are assets. Responsibilities include managing stakeholder relationships, shaping demand, ensuring alignment, tracking value, overseeing portfolios, resolving risks, and promoting innovation and improvement.
