*Job Overview* We are seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Design Engineer to join our innovative engineering team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and optimizing mechanical systems and components, utilizing advanced CAD tools and system design principles. A strong background in mechanical engineering, proficiency with CAD software, and experience with manufacturing processes are essential for success in this position. *Duties* * Design, develop, and analyze mechanical components and systems using CAD software such as SolidWorks and Creo * Create detailed schematics, drawings, and technical documentation for manufacturing and assembly * Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate electrical controls, including programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and LabVIEW-based systems * Develop system layouts and perform drafting tasks to support product development cycles * Utilize data analysis, simulation, and validation of mechanical designs * Conduct testing and troubleshooting of prototypes or existing systems to improve performance and reliability * Prepare technical reports and presentations to communicate design concepts effectively *Skills* * Proficiency with CAD software such as SolidWorks, Creo, and other drafting tools * Strong knowledge of mechanical engineering principles, including mechanics, materials, and manufacturing processes * Experience with schematics development for electrical-mechanical integration * Ability to interpret technical drawings, schematics, and specifications accurately * Understanding of mechanical systems design, including stress analysis, tolerances, and material selection * Excellent problem-solving skills combined with a detail-oriented approach to engineering challenges This role is ideal for a motivated Mechanical Design Engineer eager to apply their technical expertise in a dynamic environment focused on innovation and quality.
