*Overview* We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Journeyperson Carpenter to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in various carpentry tasks and possess the ability to work independently as well as part of a team. This role requires a commitment to quality workmanship and safety standards, ensuring that all projects are completed to the highest standards. *Responsibilities* * Construct, install, and repair structures and fixtures made from wood and other materials. * Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and sketches to understand project specifications. * Perform various carpentry tasks including framing, drywall installation, flooring installation, and masonry work. * Fabricate custom woodwork and cabinetry as required by project specifications. * Conduct construction painting and finish work to enhance the appearance of completed projects. * Collaborate with other tradespeople such as electricians and plumbers to ensure seamless project execution. * Estimate material requirements and costs for projects, providing accurate assessments for budgeting purposes. * Maintain a clean and safe work environment by following all safety protocols. *Skills* * Proficient in general carpentry techniques with experience in maintenance person tasks. * Knowledgeable in construction painting methods and materials. * Ability to fabricate custom pieces according to design specifications. * Familiarity with electrical systems relevant to carpentry projects is a plus. * Competent in construction estimating practices for effective project management. * Experience with drywall installation, tile laying, flooring installation, and masonry work is highly desirable. * Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail in all aspects of carpentry work. * Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with team members and clients. * Drug and Alcohol test required. * Own Transportation Required Join our team as a Journeyperson Carpenter where your skills will be valued, and you will have the opportunity to contribute to diverse projects while advancing your career in the construction industry.
