If you're passionate about clean energy and want to be part of a team that values expertise, teamwork, and sustainability, we'd love to hear from you! *Job Purpose* The Financial Controller at Riverside Energy Systems oversees all financial operations including 2-3 direct reports, ensuring accurate reporting, compliance with regulations, and strategic financial planning. This role is key in optimizing financial processes, managing budgeting and forecasting, and providing insights that support business growth and operational efficiency. *Job Duties & ResponsibilitiesFinancial Management & Reporting:* ? Oversee all financial operations, including accounting, reporting, budgeting, and forecasting. ? Develop and implement financial policies, procedures, and internal controls to ensure efficiency and compliance. ? Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports. ? Analyze financial performance and provide strategic recommendations to management. *Cash Flow & Compliance:* ? Manage cash flow, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll functions. ? Ensure compliance with tax regulations, audits, and financial reporting requirements. ? Liaise with external auditors, financial institutions, and regulatory bodies as needed. *Strategic Financial Planning:* ? Collaborate with department heads to optimize financial planning and cost control. ? Identify opportunities for financial process improvements and cost savings. ? Bachelor?s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. ? 5+ years of experience in financial management, preferably in a similar industry. ? Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial regulations, and tax laws. ? Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook). ? Experience managing financial teams or functions. *Preferred Qualifications* ? CPA designation ? Experience in the renewable energy or construction industry. ?
