Education: College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years. Work site environment: Noisy. Odours. Work setting: Pet grooming shop. Tasks: Arrange for maintenance and repair work. Ensure smooth operation of computer equipment and machinery. Monitor quality and production levels. Prepare and submit progress and other reports. Requisition or order materials, equipment and supplies. Resolve work problems, provide technical advice and recommend measures to improve productivity and product quality. Supervise, co-ordinate and schedule (and possibly review) activities of workers. Train staff/workers in job duties, safety procedures and company policies. Address customers' complaints or concerns. Order supplies and maintain inventory. Evaluate daily operations . Direct and control daily operations . Supervision: 5-10 people. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Fast-paced environment. Standing for extended periods. Work under pressure. Physically demanding. Attention to detail. Own tools/equipment: Cellular phone. Personal suitability: Client focus. Efficient interpersonal skills.
