Our industry is booming and Wade has an opportunity at our Brantford, Ontario location for the right person to join a progressive team in our Production Department as an Antenna Assembler. The Antenna Assembler is part of a team responsible for the assembly of antennas and sub-assemblies from raw materials and components using engineering drawings. The Antenna Assembler will work in a safe manner while adhering to company procedures to ensure production of a high quality product. * Work in compliance with the Occupational Health & Safety Act and regulations * Maintain a safe and clean working environment by complying with Company rules and procedures * Report any safety and/or production issues in a timely manner * Maintain all equipment used in the process and report any equipment failures a * Participate in training and cross training to ensure continuity of workflow in the department * Follow all work instructions (both written and verbal), quality policies and procedures to ensure product is compliant * Job involves lifting up to 50 lbs. * Other duties as assigned * Must be able to read drawings and bills of material * Experience in a manufacturing and/or production work environment is required * Must have basic computer skills * Must be able to use measuring equipment and be able to measure within .001th (using calipers and gauges) * Must have basic mechanical skills (use of wire cutters, wrenches, drills and saws) * Must be able to effective solder electrical components * Successful candidate must qualify for security clearance for controlled goods program including police check Job Types: Full-time, Permanent Pay: From $23.14 per hour Expected hours: 40 per week Benefits: * Dental care * Disability insurance * Employee assistance program * Extended health care * Life insurance * On-site parking Schedule: * 8 hour shift * Monday to Friday Experience: * manufacturing: 1 year (preferred) Work Location: In person
