We?re seeking a talented and motivated student to help build cutting-edge systems that will simplify housing searches. This flexible, part-time opportunity is perfect for students looking to gain real-world experience while contributing to an impactful project.
*The Ideal Candidate:*
* Enrolled as a student at the University of Ottawa.
* Strong understanding of front-end technologies: HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
* Familiarity with modern frameworks (e.g., React, Angular, or Vue.js).
* Experience with back-end technologies such as Node.js, Python (Django/Flask), or PHP.
* Proficiency in database systems (SQL and/or NoSQL).
* Familiarity with CMS platforms such as Webflow or WordPress (custom plugins experience is a plus).
* Knowledge of responsive design and mobile-first development principles.
* Basic understanding of APIs and their integration.
* Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
* Effective time management and organizational skills to balance work and studies.
* French language skills (speaking or writing) are an asset, but not required.
*Preferred Experience:*
* Experience with Stripe or other payment gateway integrations.
* Knowledge of tools like Mapbox, Salesforce, or similar systems.
* Familiarity with implementing user authentication and management systems.
* Exposure to designing user dashboards or interactive web elements.
