*Job Summary* We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our dynamic dental team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality dental care to our patients while ensuring their comfort and satisfaction. As a Dental Hygienist, you will play a crucial role in promoting oral health, educating patients on proper hygiene practices, and assisting the dental team in delivering exceptional care. *Responsibilities* * Perform comprehensive dental cleanings and examinations to assess oral health. * Take and develop dental X-rays as needed. * Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and preventive care. * Assist the dentist during procedures by providing necessary instruments and support. * Maintain accurate patient records using Dentrix or similar software. * Manage sterilization of instruments and maintain a clean work environment. * Provide support in pediatric dentistry, ensuring a positive experience for young patients. * Communicate effectively with patients regarding treatment plans and follow-up care. *Skills* * Experience in a dental office setting is essential for success in this role. * Strong customer service skills to foster positive patient relationships. * Knowledge of dental assisting practices is a plus. * Experience or interest in pediatrics to cater to younger patients effectively. * Bilingual abilities are highly desirable to communicate with diverse patient populations. * Familiarity with medical terminology relevant to dental care. * Understanding of orthodontics and related procedures is beneficial.
