*Job Opportunity: Twin-Engine Scraper Operators* We are seeking skilled Twin-Engine Scraper Operators to join our Earthworks Division for the 2024 season. *Our Ideal Candidate Is:* * Experienced with a minimum of 5 years in residential earthworks operating a CAT 657 or CAT 627 Scraper * Proficient in stripping and bulk dirt-moving * Experienced with push-pull operations (an asset) * Skilled in rough and fine-grade finishing (leveling and shaping) * Eager to learn new skills and continuously grow as an operator * An active listener who engages with the foreman, uses body language to show understanding, paraphrases or summarizes instructions, asks questions when needed, and confirms understanding with the foreman * Teachable, actively listening to instructions and advice, and continuously learning and progressing as a Scraper operator * A good fit for Kidco?s culture, valuing hard work, productivity, efficiency, safety, and being a reliable team player and friend * Has reliable transportation to the site and a valid driver?s license *What We Offer:* * Relocation Allowance for applicants outside Calgary with 2+ years of Scraper operating experience * Competitive hourly wage based on skill and experience * Pay increases for strong performers * Paid overtime after 8 hours per day or 44 hours per week * Holiday/Vacation pay at 9.6%, paid on each paycheck * RRSP Match Program * Opportunities for career advancement and development * Strong commitment to on-site safety, including our Safety Excellence program At Kidco Construction, this is more than just a job?it?s a long-term career opportunity.
