The base pay actually offered may vary based upon the candidate's skills and experience, job-related knowledge, geographic location, and other specific business and organizational needs.As a candidate, you are encouraged to ask compensation related questions and have an open dialogue with your recruiter who can provide you more specific details for this role.Job Description:** Please note there is a pre-identified candidate for this position**CUSTOMERManage sourcing initiatives covering a range of complexity that support TD and business partner needs and objectives as well as help to mitigate risks to the organizationResponsible for the management and support of all SSG purchasing tools and is a subject matter expert on PO's, e-Auctions and Contract Compliance within the Ariba toolResponsible for placing PO's, coordinating with vendors and tracking PO progress.Ensure the accuracy of purchase requisitions, PO details and vendor invoicingManage issues with PO's in an efficient and timely manner. Ensure data accuracy within the tools and provide recommendations of ways to operate in more efficient and cost-effective mannerProactively engages with the Strategic Sourcing Functions and Purchasing Team to identify new opportunities to leverage purchasing tools and processes, and/or eAuction related buying strategiesEnsure effective delivery of Strategic Sourcing Group (SSG) services to business partnersMay support the monthly reporting and tracking for departmental KPI's and Savings TargetsEnsure data accuracy within the tools and provide recommendations of ways to operate in more efficient and cost-effective mannerAbility to analyze large sets of data, providing detailed information to support Strategic Sourcing Group (SSG) buying/ sourcing decisionsSHAREHOLDERConsistently exercise discretion in managing correspondence, information and all matters of confidentiality; escalate issues where appropriateBe knowledgeable of sourcing practices and procedures within own area of responsibility and keep abreast of emerging trends for own functional areaProtect the interests of the organization ? identify and manage risks, and escalate non-standard, high risk activities as necessaryConduct internal and external research projects; support the development / delivery of presentations / communications to management or broader audienceMonitor service, productivity and assess efficiency levels within own function and implement continuous process / performance improvements where opportunities existsAcquire and apply sourcing expertise, provide guidance, assistance and direction to othersIdentify, recommend, and effectively execute standard practices applicable to the disciplineAdhere to internal policies/procedures and applicable regulatory guidelinesKeep abreast of emerging issues, trends, and evolving regulatory requirements and assess potential impactsMaintain a culture of risk management and control, supported by effective processes in alignment with risk appetiteEMPLOYEE / TEAMParticipate fully as a member of the team, support a positive work environment that promotes service to the business, quality, innovation and teamwork and ensure timely communication of issues/ points of interestSupport the team by continuously enhancing knowledge / expertise in own area and participate in knowledge transfer within the team and business unitKeep current on emerging trends/ developments and grow knowledge of the business, related tools and techniquesParticipate in personal performa- LocationMississauga, ON
