Education: College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years. or equivalent experience. Work setting: Business and/or industry. Various locations. Tasks: Evaluate the effectiveness of social programs . Interview client individually, in families, or in groups, to assess their situation and problems to determine the types of services required . Provide mediation services. Take authorized protective action when necessary. Perform administrative tasks. Plan programs of assistance for clients. Recruit and hire staff. Supervision: 11-15 people. Working groups. Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses : Membership in a provincial association of social workers. Target audience: Adolescents. Children. Family. Security and safety: Criminal record check. Child welfare check. Vulnerable sector check. Transportation/travel information: Valid driver's licence. Own vehicle.
