We are seeking a Paint Mixer. The Paint Mixer is responsible for preparing paints and finishes used in the finishing of cabinetry. This role ensures that paint is mixed to precise specifications, maintaining consistent quality and color matching for all cabinetry products.
*A PIVOTAL ROLE ON A LARGE TEAM.*
The successful candidate will contribute to the success of the company by assuming the following responsibilities:
* Mix, catalyze, and thin paints/ lacquers according to pre-developed formulas and work instructions
* Ensure all percentages are accurate and that product is prepared and delivered to operators in a timely fashion.
* Keep lab informed of product levels to ensure production quantities are maintained
* Maintain and organize inventory and put stock away
* Prepare touch up kits according to QC list prepared.
* Safely store and handle all paint and chemical supplies
* Maintain and clean mixing equipment, tools, and work areas.
* Meet all quality, productivity, and scheduling standards in a safe and timely manner
* Ensure cabinets, materials and components are complete, compliant, and on time
* Identify and report any defects or inconsistencies in materials.
* Represent, support, and uphold the company Core Values and Management Philosophy.
* Performs other related duties as assigned.

To successfully meet this challenge, we are looking for a person driven by the values of respect, teamwork, commitment, and pride with the following qualifications:
* High school diploma, GED, or equivalent required
* Advanced experience in cabinetry and/or woodworking, or a related field
* Experience painting cabinetry and/or wood products
* Knowledge and understanding of different types of wood, stains, varnishes, paints, and other finishing materials
* Strong understanding of color theory and paint properties.
* Attention to detail and precision in mixing and matching colors.
* Basic math skills for measuring and mixing paint.
* Ability to lift and carry up to 50lbs
* Ability to stand, bend, and perform repetitive tasks for extended periods
* Manuel dexterity and good hand-eye coordination
* Comfortable working in a dusty environment, exposure to varying temperatures, and strong smells
