Agricultural Service Technician – JourneypersonPurpose of Role: To diagnose, repair inspect, and perform field work on Agricultural Equipment with an emphasis on specializing in CLAAS equipment repair. Work with our customers to ensure satisfaction. CORE RESPONSIBILITIES:Diagnose and inspect equipment for faults and malfunctions.Repair and adjust equipment and replace defective parts.Perform updates, pre-season delivery inspections, and pre-season inspections.Complete work orders and enter technical notes into computer.Adhere to all Occupational Health and Safety standards as the company in committed to the protection and wellness of its employees.Keep shop area in a neat and tidy order.Exceptional customer serviceCustomer service calls as required. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS, WORK EXPERIENCE, SKILLS:Agricultural equipment servicing would be considered and asset.Red Seal/Journeyperson Ticket would be considered an assetMust be registered with the Heavy Equipment Technician Apprenticeship or Agricultural Equipment Technician Apprenticeship with one year of schooling and hours completed.Possess problem solving skills.Attention to detail with strong planning, organizational and communication skills. PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS / WORK CONDITIONS:Physical demands are moderate, consisting primarily of sitting, standing, walking.Working Conditions: Warehouse setting. Comfortable with wearing PPE.Personal tools and continuous training is requiredComfortable in a fast-paced settingThis Position Description In No Way States Or Implies That These Are The Only Core Responsibilities To Be Performed By The Employee Occupying this position.
