DescriptionRecognized professional accounting designation Professional designation is required CPA, CA, CMA or CGA Minimum three years of progressively responsible related accounting experience preferably within the public sector and utility environment Assets: Experience working in a Utility environment Large corporation experience Capital accounting experience including capital financial planning and budgeting Experience working with operating financial planning and budget Skills required for success: Knowledge and experience with Google Sheets, Docs and Slides Knowledge and experience with Microsoft Excel, SAP and related systems Thorough understanding of general accounting activities (operating and capital budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis, etc.) Thorough knowledge of corporate and departmental policy and procedures Thorough knowledge of corporate financial system and inter-relationships to departmental accounting Significant experience and proficiency in major financial and analytical software systems High- LocationEdmonton, AB
