Job details
Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate. Work setting: Courier company. Tasks: Deliver and pick up messages, parcels, and other items by hand. Operate and drive automobiles, vans and light trucks to pick up and deliver various items and products. Receive and relay information to central dispatch. Keep a record of items received and delivered. Sort packages for delivery. Follow directions and read map. Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses : Class 5/5F/G Licence (cars, small trucks and other 2-axle vehicles). Work conditions and physical capabilities: Attention to detail. Fast-paced environment. Weight handling: Up to 9 kg (20 lbs). Personal suitability: Organized. Team player. Punctuality. Experience: Experience an asset. Support for newcomers and refugees: Provides diversity and cross-cultural trainings to create a welcoming work environment for newcomers and/or refugees .
