*Position Summary:*
We are seeking a motivated and personable *Customer Service Representative* to join our team. This role requires someone with exceptional communication skills, a high standard of moral character, and the ability to manage customer interactions effectively. The ideal candidate will also have the ability to operate a Point of Sale (POS) system efficiently and accurately.
*Duties*
* Serve as the primary point of contact for customers via phone, email, and in-person.
* Provide detailed information about our products, including CO2, O2, Argon, and other gases.
* Process sales transactions accurately using the Point of Sale (POS) system.
* Manage and process customer orders, ensuring timely follow-up and order fulfillment.
* Build and maintain strong customer relationships by addressing concerns promptly and professionally.
* Coordinate delivery schedules and logistics with the team and customers.
* Assist with basic administrative tasks as required.
* Provide accurate information regarding products and services to assist customers effectively.
* Maintain detailed records of customer interactions and transactions through data entry.
* Collaborate with team members to improve service delivery and share best practices.
* Uphold company policies and procedures while maintaining high standards of phone etiquette.
*Requirements:*
* *High moral character and integrity* ? a commitment to treating customers and team members with respect and honesty.
* Proficiency in operating a Point of Sale (POS) system and handling transactions accurately.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
* Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
* Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a small team setting.
* Valid driver?s license and access to reliable transportation.
* Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
* Previous customer service experience is an asset but not required ? we are willing to train the right candidate.
*Work Schedule:*
* Typical workweek: Monday to Friday, 10AM ? 5PM.
* Occasional flexibility may be required based on customer needs or business operations.
