*Midday Barista* Company: Good Earth Coffeehouse Location: 35 Mackenzie Way SW Pay: $15/hour Midday Shifts (9:00 AM - 3:30 PM) About Us: Good Earth Café is a warm, community-focused café that prides itself on serving high-quality food and beverages while creating a welcoming atmosphere for our guests. We're looking for a passionate, reliable, and energetic Midday Barista to join our team. Role: Barista - Midday *Responsibilities:* Clock in using 7Shift at 9:00 AM. - Complete and check off Midday Barista tasks using 7Shift, including: - Set up 2 mop pails. - Spot clean washrooms and check supplies. - Bring all frontend and backend dishes to dishwashing station and sort. - Complete WEEKLY cleaning tasks. - Stock and clean condiment station. - Wipe microwaves inside and out. - Fill all bean hoppers. - Restock all paper cups. - Fill napkin dispensers. - Sanitize all counters. - Clean front doors (inside/out). - Clean utensils at Panini station. - Stock and clean blender station. - Wipe out cooler and clean glass. - Fill water jug. - Dish wash all espresso milk jugs and shot glasses. - Sweep and mop behind the front counter. - Wipe and bus all tables. - Refresh all sani-pails. - Restock bottled beverage display and refresh ice. - Restock milk cooler. - Set up liquor display. - Bus and clean patio. - Perform a Midday café walkthrough and record/post pictures of any deficiencies on 7Shift while completing tasks. - Clock out at 3:30 PM. *What You?ll Do:* - Greet every guest with a smile and create a welcoming environment. - Take orders and provide excellent customer service. - Prepare and serve Good Earth food and beverages, including coffee, tea, and cold drinks. - Suggest and promote Good Earth's programs, including: - Seasonal Product Launches - Catering Program - Liquor Program - Good Earth Rewards Program - Regularly update guests on the status of their orders. - Thank every guest while serving their orders. - Sanitize and organize customer areas, including dusting surfaces, sweeping floors, and checking milk, cream, and bathroom supplies. - Support catering orders when needed by preparing and packaging items, assembling coffee totes, and assisting team members. - Communicate effectively with team members to ensure smooth operations throughout the day. *What You Bring:* - A positive attitude and excellent communication skills. - The ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. - A strong focus on teamwork and customer satisfaction. - Must be 18 years or older -ProServe Certification required (for liquor service). -Prior barista experience is required.
