About the job *Company Description* AMA Global Foods is a leading importer and distributor of grocery products and bakery items in Western Canada. As exclusive distributors for renowned brands like TATA Consumer Products, Mr. Makhana, Roasty Tasty, and Casablanca, we collaborate with restaurants and grocery stores to meet their grocery needs. To contact us, please email info@amaglobalfoods.com. *Role Description* This is a full-time on-site role for a Delivery Driver located in Surrey, BC. The Delivery Driver will be responsible for; * Ensuring timely and accurate delivery of grocery products to our clients * Checking and loading all deliveries in the vehicle from the warehouse * Providing excellent customer service by putting items in correct areas for restaurant deliveries. * Clearly communicate all delivery related queries with the office in timely manner. * Maintain vehicle by keeping it clean, and let fleet manager know of any technical issues. * Occasionally help fulfilment team in picking out orders. *Qualifications* * Efficiency, accuracy and sense of responsibility. * Customer Service and Sales skills * Training in Food & Beverage handling * Strong organizational and time management skills * Ability to lift and carry heavy items * Valid driver's license (Class 5) with a clean driving record * Knowledge of Surrey, BC and surrounding areas * Experience in Forklift Operation is a plus * Prior experience in delivery or logistics is a plus Job Types: Full-time, Permanent Pay: $17.40-$18.00 per hour Expected hours: No less than 40 per week Licence/Certification: * Class 5 Licence (required) Work Location: In person Application deadline: 2024-09-21- LocationSurrey, BC
