*Overview* We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our dynamic dental team for Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays. We are a brand new office with new equipment and top of the line technology. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in promoting oral health and providing exceptional patient care. As a Dental Hygienist, you will be responsible for conducting thorough dental cleanings, educating patients on oral hygiene practices, and assisting the dentist in various procedures. A strong commitment to customer service and patient satisfaction is essential. *Responsibilities* * Perform comprehensive dental cleanings and assessments for patients. * Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and the importance of regular dental visits. * Take dental radiographs (X-rays) as needed. * Document patient treatment plans and maintain accurate records using Tracker software. * Assist the dentist during examinations and procedures, ensuring a smooth workflow. * Manage patient scheduling and follow-up appointments to enhance customer service. * Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to infection control protocols. * Stay updated on advancements in dental hygiene practices and technologies. *Skills* * Proficiency in using Tracker dental office software. * Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with patients of all ages. * Knowledge of medical terminology related to dentistry. * Experience or interest in pediatrics and orthodontics is a plus. * Bilingual abilities are highly desirable to assist diverse patient populations. * Previous experience in dental assisting is beneficial but not required. * Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail.
