*Essential Duties and Responsibilities:*
* Helps patients by responding to their requests and directing them to right staff or department.
* Obtaining needed services from Facility Manager, Administrator, Recreation Therapist, Nurses, Physicians, Aides, and other Manoir du Lac personnel.
* Taking and typing meeting minutes.
* Provides information by answering questions and requests.
* Establishes patient record by preparing and organizing binder; updating computer records like resident census; maintaining a record of admission, discharge and transfer.
* Documents patient care services by copying nursing and physician notes to patient and department records.
* Arranges and organizing admission and discharge binders.
* Maintains unit operations by following policies and procedures; reporting needed changes.
* Maintains patient confidence and protects hospital operations by keeping information confidential.
* Maintains unit supplies inventory by checking stock to determine inventory level; anticipating needed supplies.
* Keeps unit equipment operational by following manufacturer's instructions and established procedures, and calling for repairs.
* Conserves unit resources by using equipment and supplies as needed to accomplish job results.
* Maintains safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations; adhering to infection-control policies and protocols.
* Maintains continuity among work teams by documenting and communicating actions, irregularities, and continuing needs.
* Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
* Assisting the Recreation Department with office supports like making calendars, schedules, every day activity signage, event?s poster and other computer related files.
* Assisting the Recreation Therapist or Coordination and facilitating different activities when needed.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $19.50-$23.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
