We are a floral wholesaler located in Fenwick, Ontario and we are looking for a Warehouse Manager to join our team! In this role, you would monitor and maintain the efficient flow of our warehouse department. The duties include overseeing product and supplies by directing the departments packing, receiving, and warehousing services. The Warehouse Manager is also responsible for managing the warehouse staff and maintaining quality control. *Responsibility* * Recruiting and training new hires, and assisting warehouse employees with tasks as needed * Assigning work schedules to Warehouse Workers, and preparing outgoing shipments * Oversee receiving and incoming product and shipments, * Managing outgoing shipments daily * Ensuring a well-coordinated process for receiving all materials, items, and products, and making sure they are sorted, labelled, and stored per company standards and policies * Packing plant orders for various customers according to sales orders and company standards, ensuring order requirements and quality objectives are met * Ensuring the department complies with safety and health regulations * Utilize the computer ERP system to pack and receive product *Requirements* * 2 or more years similar experience (floral industry experience is an asset) * Excellent Communication & interpersonal skills * Strong Leadership and Organizational skills * Accurate and detail oriented * Ability to work in a fast-paced environment. * Basic Computer/Electronic Skills * Hardworking and ability to be on your feet all day Work Schedule: Monday to Friday's, some Saturdays during peak times.
