We are currently hiring for the role of Electrician on day shift. *Essential duties, responsibilities and requirements include but are not limited to the following:* * Preventative maintenance covering all production machinery and other capital equipment * Supporting production and repair equipment when equipment breaks down * Troubleshooting and resolving issues * Keeping spare parts inventory neat and tidy * Assist with the commissioning of new equipment * Maintaining safety standards in area of responsibility as well as provide direction towards plant-wide safety requirements * Ensuring compliance with various government regulations including but not limited to Environmental, Health and Safety, Building Codes, TSSA and Electrical Codes. *Position Requirements:* * Strong work ethic and positive team attitude * 309A or 442A license * Must ensure that health and safety requirements are being met, housekeeping rules, legislation and guidelines, quality standards, and standard operating procedures are followed * Strong written and verbal communication skills in English * Must be legally eligible to work in Canada If this role sounds like a good fit for you please APPLY ONLINE We will review your application and connect shortly if you are a good fit, only those most qualified will be contacted.
