Amity Industrial provides a high level of service and quality products to its vast customers. Our Amity team is seeking a self-motivated and experienced Controller* *to join our team.* *Accounting Manager* *Major Responsibilities and Duties:* · Prepare month end/ year end financial statements · Prepare budgets and forecasts · Bank reporting · Balance GL accounts · Develop and manage financial controls · Provide cash flow analysis · Participate in development of and support the company?s strategic plans · Financial planning, budgeting and expense control · Bank reconciliation · Effectively process and manage accounts receivable and accounts payable · Power user of accounting system · Employee onboarding company package · Manage and prepare payroll · Manage benefits enrollment and changes · Take on additional responsibilities and special projects as required *Required Skills and Abilities:* · Self motivated and self directing · Ability to work closely with senior management · Excellent decision-making abilities · Results orientated · Strong communication skills · High level of proficiency in Microsoft Office *Education and Experience:* · Bachelor?s degree in business, accounting, or finance · 5+ years of experience with progressive accounting responsibilities. *Location & Job Details* · Edmonton, Alberta · Hybrid work option available · Benefits Job Type: Full-time Pay: From $70,000.00 per year Additional pay: * Tips Schedule: * 8 hour shift Education: * Bachelor's Degree (preferred) Experience: * accounting: 3 years (preferred) Work Location: In person Expected start date: 2025-01-02- LocationEdmonton, AB
