*Job Summary* We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Construction Laborer to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist in various construction tasks, ensuring that projects are completed efficiently and safely. This role requires physical stamina, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively with a team on-site. *Responsibilities* * Clean and prepare construction sites by removing debris and possible hazards. * Load or unload building materials to be used in construction. * Build or take apart bracing, scaffolding, and temporary structures. * Dig trenches, backfill holes, or compact earth to prepare for construction. * Building or moving a variety of structures such as scaffolding, bridges, or barricades etc. * Preparing the earth for building ? i.e creating trenches, filling holes, or compressing the soil. * Operating machinery such as diggers, concrete mixers, hammers and drills. Assisting other craftsmen, such as joiners and roofers. * Assist skilled tradespeople in various construction activities, including carpentry, plumbing, and electrical work. * Load and unload materials, ensuring they are stored safely and securely. * Operate hand tools and power tools as directed by supervisors. * Follow safety protocols to maintain a safe working environment at all times. * Perform general maintenance tasks as needed on job sites. * Communicate effectively with team members to ensure project timelines are met. *Experience* * Previous experience in construction or labor-intensive roles is preferred but not required. * Familiarity with basic hand tools and power tools is a plus. * Ability to follow instructions and work well within a team environment. * Strong physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 pounds). * A willingness to learn new skills and take on additional responsibilities as needed.
