Education: College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 3 months to less than 1 year. or equivalent experience. Work setting: Urban area. Tasks: Ensure the information on prescriptions is accurate. Enter client information in databases. Help pharmacists. Maintain inventories of medications and pharmaceutical products. Maintain prescription records . Prepare medications for clients. Clean and maintain equipment. Compound, package and label pharmaceutical products. Prepare and maintain equipment and supplies. Bill third party insurers. Compound oral solutions, ointments and creams. Maintain inventories of medications and prescription records of pharmaceutical products. Order supplies and equipment. Organize and maintain inventory. Schedule and confirm appointments. Security and safety: Criminal record check. Bondable. Immunization records. Basic security clearance. Transportation/travel information: Own transportation. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Fast-paced environment. Repetitive tasks. Manual dexterity. Work under pressure. Attention to detail.
