*Position Summary:* The Warehouse Supervisor will be responsible for managing the end-to-end operations of the sorting station, including inbound parcel management, sorting, routing, driver coordination, and returns management. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong leadership abilities, organizational skills, and a hands-on approach to managing warehouse operations while ensuring performance goals are achieved. *Key Responsibilities:* *Leadership & Team Management* * Manage, motivate, and maximize the performance of a team of 15-20 employees working in the sorting area. * Act as a mentor to new and existing team members to foster a positive work environment. * Onboard and train new warehouse staff, ensuring they understand processes and expectations. * *Warehouse Operations* * Oversee inbound operations, ensuring all parcels are checked in, sorted, and routed efficiently. * Supervise all sorting activities to maintain accuracy and productivity. * Monitor hourly progress of parcel sorting, ensuring performance goals and deadlines are met. * Coordinate driver schedules for parcel pickups and deliveries. * Manage returns, ensuring all undelivered parcels are collected back and processed promptly. * Ensure all drivers deliver safely, minimizing customer complaints and operational disruptions. *Staffing & HR Coordination* * Assess workforce requirements to ensure sufficient drivers and sorting staff are available. * Recruit, interview, and hire drivers or warehouse staff when necessary. * Create and manage job postings on platforms like LinkedIn and Indeed. *Productivity & Planning* * Plan workflow to ensure efficient parcel sorting and routing. * Set clear performance objectives and monitor progress against organizational goals. * Implement productivity strategies to optimize warehouse processes. *Safety & Cleanliness* * Ensure safe work methods and behaviors are followed at all times. * Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment. * Enforce company safety standards to protect employees and prevent workplace incidents. *ualifications:* * 3+ years of experience in warehouse supervision, logistics, or related fields. * Proven leadership and team management experience. * Strong organizational and multitasking abilities. * Proficiency in managing warehouse operations, including sorting and routing processes. * Ability to recruit, train, and manage staff effectively. * Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to manage returns or delivery challenges. * Good communication skills to coordinate with drivers, staff, and management. *Preferred:* * Experience working in parcel distribution or logistics environments. * Familiarity with delivery driver scheduling and routing software.
