*Job Summary* Dorchester Ranch Golf Course is looking for a highly motivated experienced individual with a passion for the industry and golf in general. The superintendent will report directly to the General Manager. Dorchester Ranch is a 18 hole facility. The golf course has beautiful scenic views of the Battle River valley, with many dramatic elevation changes throughout. We have been in operation for 25+ years. In addition to practicing Golf Course Superintendents, Assistants with experience and a willingness to learn, as we help you transition into this new role are welcome to apply. If you have any questions you need answered prior to applying please feel free to reach out to Kyle at dorchester.kyle@gmail.com *Responsibilities and Duties* Oversee the care and maintenance of turf, plants, shrubs, and trees on the facility grounds. Supervise and lead our grounds crew. Supervise and lead Mechanic. Supervise maintenance of building and facility upkeep. Manages a water usage plan and irrigation systems. Maintain golf course equipment and cart fleet in a satisfactory state of repair. Supervises and participates in the application and recording of chemical applications (fertilizers, pesticides, and fungicides) on the Facility grounds. Design landscaping plans for facility grounds and implement plan. Operate maintenance equipment as needed. Coordinate snow removal and winter maintenance. *Qualifications and Skills* Diploma in Turfgrass management. Minimum 3 years experience in golf course industry. Valid Alberta Pesticide License.
