Our work environment includes: * On-the-job training * Safe work environment * Casual work attire Job description * Looking for a experienced bicycle mechanic for a busy bike shop. Must have previous bike shop mechanical experience. * Repair bicycles and maintained communication with customers about repair progress * Install and adjust brakes and gears * Assembled new bicycles * Installed, repaired, and replaced equipment or accessories, such as handlebars, stands, lights, and seats, align wheels. * Determined causes of operating errors and decided necessary action * Raise concerns to customers about urgent issues putting cyclist safety at risk * Conduct safety testing on brakes and bicycle agility issues to ensure customer satisfaction * Work in a professional and efficient way getting along with coworkers and customers * Fun and/or funny is an asset Job Types: Full-time, Temporary, Permanent Salary: $18.00 to $24.00 /hour Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Temporary, Permanent Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent, Casual, Seasonal Pay: $18.00-$24.00 per hour Expected hours: 30 ? 40 per week Benefits: * Casual dress * Store discount Schedule: * 8 hour shift * Day shift Work Location: In person Expected start date: 2025-02-15- LocationKamloops, BC
