*Overview* We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Shipping and Receiving Clerk to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the flow of goods in and out of our warehouse, ensuring accurate order fulfillment and maintaining inventory integrity. The ideal candidate will have experience in shipping and receiving operations, a strong understanding of warehouse processes, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. *Responsibilities* * Process incoming shipments by verifying contents against purchase orders and packing slips. * Prepare outgoing shipments by packaging products securely and labeling them accurately. * Maintain accurate records of inventory levels, shipments, and receipts using warehouse management systems. * Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment to move products within the warehouse. * Assist with order picking and fulfillment for e-commerce transactions. * Conduct regular inventory counts to ensure accuracy and report discrepancies as needed. * Collaborate with team members to streamline shipping and receiving processes for improved efficiency. * Adhere to safety protocols while handling materials and operating equipment. *Skills* * Proficient in order fulfillment processes with a keen attention to detail. * Experience in shipping and receiving operations within a warehouse setting. * Familiarity with forklift operation is preferred. * Knowledge of AS400 or similar warehouse management systems is a plus. * Strong basic math skills for inventory management and order processing. * Understanding of Material Requirements Planning (MRP) systems is beneficial. * Experience with e-commerce platforms and order picking procedures is advantageous. * Ability to handle packages of varying sizes safely and efficiently.
