The company specializes in the use of advanced technologies for the refurbishment of super alloy components.</p><p>We are currently seeking a qualified Engineer with Gas Turbine Repair experience.</p><p><strong><em>Typical Duties Include (but are not limited to):</em></strong></p><ul><li>Designing and engineering of repairs and upgrades to gas turbine hot section components</li><li>Engaging in continuous improvement efforts to assist with shop floor efficiency</li><li>Understanding and interpreting component drawings and material specifications</li><li>Commissioning, tooling on specialized equipment</li><li>Project management tasks</li><li>Utilizing various design software</li><li>Performing fixture designs</li><li>Designing mechanical components</li><li>Engineering and designing for welding, brazing, HVOF and coating</li><li>Performing Failure Modes Effect Analysis</li></ul><p><strong><em> </em></strong></p><p><strong><em>Key Skill Requirements:</em></strong></p><ul><li>Strong inter-personal and inter-departmental communication skills</li><li>Highly organized, motivated and project driven</li><li>Excellent multi-tasking skills</li><li>Ability to work effectively in a dynamic team environment</li><li>Strong analytical and problem-solving skills</li><li>Ability to work independently and take initiative</li><li>Superior written and verbal communication skills</li><li>Demonstrated leadership skills</li></ul><p><strong><em> </em></strong><strong><em> </em></strong></p><p><strong><em>Key Education / Experience Requirements:</em></strong></p><ul><li>Graduate of a Mechanical or Manufacturing Engineering program required</li><li>B Eng or BA Sc required</li><li>Eng. designation an asset</li><li>5+ years of related experience required</li><li>Experience in gas turbine, design, processing or advanced manufacturing preferred, ideally within a flight repair environment</li><li>Intermediate to advanced knowledge of CAD, Solid Edge or Solid Works required</li><li>Strong knowledge of project management principles required</li><li>Previous experience in a manufacturing environment required</li><li>Previous experience the following preferred:<ul><li>gas turbine components / combustion mechanical design</li><li>component mechanical design</li><li>hot section component fixture design</li><li>welding, brazing, HVOF, or coating design</li><li>aircraft / aircraft engine component repair</li><li>FME Analysis</li></ul></li><li>Previous experience in a repair shop environment an asset</li><li>Previous experience with machining of super alloys a strong asset</li><li>Previous experience with DER and ODA repairs an asset</li></ul> <br> <p><strong><em>Application Information: </em></strong></p><p>This role is a full-time position.
