Recent growth in the Edmonton and area property market has seen a dramatic increase in our portfolio, which now includes apartments, condominiums, and residential properties. To keep up with the growth of our company while maintaining a high standard of service for both tenants and owners has created the need for an *Assistant Property Manager* *with the view that this individual will become a licensed property manager within a period of 12 months.*
The successful candidate will welcome challenges and is known for communication skills and a positive attitude.
*Job Description*
* Reporting to the General Manager, you will be working to provide assistance and support in all
* Duties include but are not limited to the following:
* Showing rental properties to prospective tenants
* Conducting move-in and move-out inspections
* Ensuring rental properties are in a rent ready condition
* Coordinating and requesting maintenance on properties
* Answering questions from tenants
* Pre-qualifying tenants
* Managing and improving the tenant's experience in renting from the company which could include assigning job orders for repairs and maintenance, coordinating with condo boards, etc.
* Overall knowledge of the rental market and rental prices
* Working in a team environment
*Qualifications*
To join our team you will have a minimum high school diploma and are willing to obtain the necessary training and education to obtain the Property Manager license.
Other desirable experience includes:

* Excellent communication and computer skills
* Flexible working hours
* Home improvement experience
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $19.00 per hour
Expected hours: 37.5 per week
