Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate. or equivalent experience. Work setting: Fast moving consumer goods (FMCG). Internet/Web services company. Electronics specialty shop. Retail/wholesale establishment/distribution centre. Tasks: Market business services. Plan, direct and evaluate the activities of firms and departments that develop and implement advertising campaigns to promote the sales of products and services. Advise clients on advertising or sales promotion strategies. Answer written and oral inquiries. Copywrite. Consult with clients after sale to provide ongoing support. Implement price and credits policies. Develop and implement marketing strategies. Determine merchandise and services to be sold. Manage staff and assign duties. Study market research and trends to determine consumer demand, potential sales volumes and effect of competitors' operations on sales. Resolve issues that may arise, including customer requests, complaints and supply shortages. Conduct online marketing, E-commerce and Website promotions.
