*Job Overview* We are hiring! Our dental assistant of 22 years has moved and we are in need of a full time RDA for our small family owned practice. Signing bonus up to $600, 4 day work week (Monday- Thursday), competitive wages, in house dental for yourself and family, medical benefits, parking allowance, scrub allowance, CE allowance, fully digital. Please email in confidence for consideration! *Responsibilities* * Assist the dentist during examinations and procedures by preparing instruments and materials. * Obtain dental radiographs (X-rays) as needed. * Maintain a clean and organized work environment, ensuring compliance with safety and infection control protocols. * Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care... * Collaborate with the dental team to ensure efficient workflow and high-quality patient care. * Ordering / stocking operatory as needed *Requirements* * Dental Assistant Level II certification required. * Knowledge of medical terminology related to dentistry. * Familiarity with dental software systems such as Dentrix is an asset but not required * Strong communication skills to effectively interact with patients and team members. * A compassionate attitude towards patient care Job Type: Full-time Pay: $26.00-$31.00 per hour Expected hours: 38 per week Additional pay: * Signing bonus Benefits: * Company events * Dental care * Extended health care * Life insurance * On-site parking * Paid time off * RRSP match * Vision care Schedule: * Day shift Experience: * Dental Assisting: 1 year (preferred) Licence/Certification: * Certification in Dental Assistant, LEVEL II (required) Work Location: In person- LocationHalifax, NS
