Eurofins CDMO Alphora Inc. is growing its state-of-the-art organization, with continued investments in modern facilities, equipment, and instrumentation while providing a rich environment for employees to develop their technical skills and careers paths.</em></p>Job Description<p>If you love science and are interested in learning to make organic molecules, this job is for you!</p><p>The successful candidates will work on synthesizing organic compounds (mg to kg quantities), research, development, and implementation of process technologies for the manufacture of active pharmaceutical ingredients (APIs).</p><p>Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:</p><ul><li>Working in a laboratory environment under the supervision of a Senior Scientist</li><li>Planning and execution of experiments in R&D laboratories</li><li>Data analysis, interpretation, and documentation in development reports</li><li>Development of inherently safe processes based on thermal hazard assessment</li><li>Maintaining a safe and well-organized laboratory work area</li><li>Technology transfer to both internal and external manufacturing facilities</li><li>Scale up chemical process to 50 L reactor</li></ul>Qualifications<ul><li>B.Sc. in Chemistry or Diploma in Chemical Engineering Technology.</li><li>Experience in the pharmaceutical or biotechnology industry will be an asset.</li><li>Work experience in synthetic organic chemistry will be an asset.</li><li>Knowledge of synthetic organic chemistry will be an asset- LocationMississauga, ON
