*Job Overview* We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Supervisor to join our team. The Supervisor will oversee daily operations, manage staff, and ensure excellent customer service. *Responsibilities* - Supervise and coordinate the activities of retail staff - Train and mentor employees on company policies and procedures - Monitor inventory levels and order merchandise as needed - Handle customer inquiries and resolve issues in a professional manner - Manage cashiers and ensure accurate cash handling procedures - Implement strategies to meet sales targets and profitability goals - Conduct performance evaluations and provide feedback to staff - Create employee schedules and manage payroll *Requirements* - Previous experience in retail management or a similar role - Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and supervise a team - Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities - Proficiency in math for handling budgets, inventory, and sales data - Exceptional time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively - Knowledge of cashiering procedures and customer service best practices Job Types: Full-time, Part-time Pay: $18.00-$21.00 per hour Expected hours: 20 ? 40 per week Additional pay: * Tips Benefits: * On-site parking Flexible language requirement: * French not required Schedule: * 8 hour shift * Holidays * Monday to Friday * On call * Weekends as needed Education: * Bachelor's Degree (preferred) Experience: * Retail management: 3 years (required) Work Location: In person Expected start date: 2024-12-20- LocationOakville, ON
