This role is a shared position between Janox Fluid Power and Bridge Machine Shop, both companies under the Boundary Mining Group. Job Summary: Reporting to the Operations Manager, the Mechanical Engineer provides support to the Project Manager, Engineering for machine design and hydraulic design. The Mechanical Engineer will support project management to ensure deliverables are met by the required customer deadlines. Depending on candidate experience, the successful incumbent may be responsible for managing mechanical engineer projects. Key Responsibilities: Support Project Manager with preparing preliminary drawings and specifications, for submission to customers. Perform engineering calculations and prepare AutoCad / Solidworks drawings of items such as hydraulic cylinders and hydraulic power units. Prepare documents, reports, and manuals. Prepare bills of material and carry- LocationDelta, BC
