*Job Overview* As a Veterinary Technician, you will play a crucial role in the healthcare of animals by providing support to veterinarians and ensuring the well-being of pets in our care. This position requires a compassionate individual with strong technical skills and a commitment to animal welfare. You will assist in various procedures, perform laboratory tests, and provide excellent customer service to pet owners. *Duties* * Assist veterinarians during examinations and surgical procedures. * Prepare and administer medications, vaccines, and treatments as prescribed. * Conduct laboratory tests such as blood work, urinalysis, and fecal examinations. * Monitor and record vital signs of animals before, during, and after procedures. * Maintain accurate medical records for each patient. * Educate pet owners on proper care, nutrition, and preventive health measures. * Ensure cleanliness and organization of the clinic or hospital environment. * Handle animals safely and compassionately during examinations and treatments. *Skills* * Proficiency in laboratory techniques and procedures related to veterinary medicine. * Strong communication skills to effectively interact with pet owners and team members. * Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment. * Attention to detail when performing tasks and documenting patient information. * Compassionate demeanor towards animals and their owners. * Team-oriented mindset with the ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues.
