*Job Overview* We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Kitchen Manager to oversee our culinary operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the food industry, demonstrating exceptional leadership skills and a commitment to food safety. As a Kitchen Manager, you will be responsible for managing kitchen staff, ensuring high-quality food preparation, and maintaining an efficient kitchen environment in our restaurant or hotel setting. *Responsibilities* * Lead and manage kitchen staff, providing training and guidance to ensure optimal performance. * Oversee daily kitchen operations, including food preparation, cooking, and presentation. * Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment. * Develop menus that reflect seasonal ingredients and customer preferences while managing food costs. * Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service and customer satisfaction. * Manage inventory levels, ordering supplies as needed, and minimizing waste. * Conduct interviews and hire new kitchen staff as necessary. * Implement and maintain standard operating procedures for all kitchen activities. *Experience* * Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop team members. * Knowledge of food safety standards and best practices. * Familiarity with POS systems for efficient order management. * Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with both kitchen staff and front-of-house teams.
