*Location:* Guelph, Ontario *Position Type:* Full-time *Hours:* Monday to Friday, 7:30 AM ? 6:30 PM (flexibility required) *Salary:* $21.50 to $24.80 per hour (based on experience) *About Us:* Curious Tots Childcare Centre is a brand-new childcare provider in Guelph, Ontario, set to open in February 2024. Our mission is to foster curiosity, creativity, and growth in toddlers and preschoolers aged 18 months to 5 years through a play-based and emergent curriculum. With a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment, we aim to empower young minds and support families in our community. *Job Summary:* As we prepare to open our doors, we are seeking passionate Registered Early Childhood Educators (RECEs) to join our founding team. This is an exciting opportunity to play a pivotal role in shaping our programs and establishing a warm, inclusive environment for children and families. *Key Responsibilities:* * Plan and implement play-based, emergent curriculum to promote children?s cognitive, social, emotional, and physical development. * Establish a safe, welcoming, and inclusive classroom environment. * Observe, assess, and document children's progress and share updates with families using our parent communication app. * Build positive relationships with children, families, and team members. * Ensure all activities comply with licensing regulations, health, and safety standards. * Contribute to the growth of our centre by participating in professional development and collaborating with colleagues to create innovative programs. *Qualifications:* * Registered Early Childhood Educator (RECE) designation in good standing with the College of Early Childhood Educators (CECE). * Diploma or degree in Early Childhood Education (ECE) from a recognized institution. * Experience in early childhood education (minimum of 2 years preferred). * Strong understanding of play-based learning and emergent curriculum. * Valid Standard First Aid and CPR Certification. * Clear Vulnerable Sector Check. * Excellent communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills. *Why Join Us?* * Be part of a new, innovative childcare centre from the ground up. * Enjoy a supportive, collaborative environment with opportunities for professional growth. * Competitive hourly wage of $21.50 to $24.80, based on experience. * Flexible scheduling options for additional evening care hours. * Help shape a centre that values creativity, curiosity, and lifelong learning. *How to Apply:* Apply using the Indeed link or email us your resume at *info@curioustots.ca*.
