*Job Overview* We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Hotel Housekeeper to join our hospitality team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and overall appearance of guest rooms and common areas within the hotel. This role is crucial in ensuring that guests have a comfortable and enjoyable stay. A strong commitment to quality service and attention to detail is essential. *Duties* * Clean and sanitize guest rooms, bathrooms, and common areas according to hotel standards. * Change bed linens, towels, and other amenities as needed. * Dust, vacuum, and mop floors to ensure a clean environment. * Restock supplies in guest rooms and public areas. * Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the management team promptly. * Assist with laundry duties as required, including washing, drying, and folding linens. * Maintain cleanliness of housekeeping carts and storage areas. * Provide exceptional customer service by addressing guest requests or concerns in a timely manner. * Sweep, mop and wash floors * Wax and polish floors * Dust furniture * Vacuum carpeting, area rugs, draperies and upholstered furniture * Make beds and change sheets * Distribute clean towels and toiletries * Stock linen closet * Clean, disinfect and polish kitchen fixtures and appliances * Clean and disinfect bathrooms and fixtures * Clean and disinfect elevators, Handle and report lost and found items * Attend to guests' requests for extra supplies or other items * Provide basic information on facilities * Handle complaints * Pick up debris and empty trash containers * Wash windows, walls and ceilings * Ensure that assigned bedrooms, corridors, vending areas and other areas are properly cleaned daily. * Ensure that proper key controls are in effect. * Ensure that Lost and Found articles are stored properly and that the correct logs are maintained. * Be accountable and responsible of the cleanliness of all public areas. * Is familiar with and follows all hotel safety and accident prevention procedures. * Follow provided checklists to ensure that all standards are maintained consistently * Report any issues to supervisors or maintenance * Wash/dry terry and beddings * Other tasks as assigned *Experience* * Previous experience in industrial cleaning or custodial work is preferred but not required. * Experience in the hotel or hospitality industry is a plus. * Strong attention to detail with a focus on cleanliness and sanitation standards. * Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. * Excellent time management skills to ensure timely completion of tasks. * A positive attitude and willingness to learn new skills related to hotel housekeeping practices.
