*Job Overview* We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Gardener to join our team. If you have a genuine passion for creating and maintaining stunning outdoor spaces, we want to hear from you! In this hands-on role, you will be responsible for a variety of gardening tasks to ensure landscapes, plants, and flowers thrive and remain visually appealing. The position also requires safely operating and driving a large landscaping truck to transport tools and materials to job sites and dispose of garden waste at designated locations. As a key member of our team, you will contribute to enhancing the beauty and functionality of outdoor spaces while supporting sustainable gardening practices. *Duties* * Perform routine garden maintenance tasks, including weeding, pruning, and mulching, to ensure landscapes remain neat and healthy. * Safely operate and drive a large landscaping truck to transport tools, materials, and garden waste to designated dumping sites. * Effectively use hand tools and power tools for a variety of gardening and landscaping activities. * Inspect and maintain motorized landscaping tools, ensuring they are in good working condition and promptly reporting any required repairs. * Implement and manage proper irrigation schedules to keep plants adequately watered and thriving. * Assist in landscape maintenance projects by planting flowers, shrubs, and trees to enhance outdoor spaces. * Monitor the health of plants, identifying and addressing diseases or pest issues to support healthy growth. * Work collaboratively with team members to plan, design, and execute garden layouts. * Ensure gardening tools and equipment are cleaned, organized, and stored appropriately after use. * Adhere to safety guidelines while operating machinery, handling chemicals, and performing all gardening tasks. *Qualifications* * Prior experience in gardening or landscape maintenance is highly desirable. * Proficient in the safe and effective use of hand tools and power tools for gardening tasks. * Knowledge of irrigation systems and best practices for maintaining healthy plants. * Detail-oriented with a genuine passion for working in outdoor environments. * Physically capable of lifting heavy materials and performing hands-on labor as needed. * Strong time management skills with the ability to prioritize and complete tasks efficiently. * Open to learning and adopting new gardening techniques and methods.
