*Overview* We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Health Care Aide to join our team. In this role, you will provide essential support to individuals in various settings, including nursing homes, assisted living facilities, and home care environments. Your primary focus will be on enhancing the quality of life for seniors and individuals with disabilities by assisting them with daily activities and personal care. This position requires a strong commitment to patient care, empathy, and the ability to work collaboratively with healthcare professionals. *Responsibilities* * Assist clients with personal hygiene tasks, including bathing, grooming, and dressing. * Provide support for meal preparation and ensure clients receive proper nutrition. * Administer medications as directed by healthcare professionals. * Assist with mobility and transportation needs, including heavy lifting when necessary. * Offer companionship and emotional support to clients, particularly those dealing with dementia or hospice care. * Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients by performing light housekeeping duties. * Document care provided and report any changes in client condition to the appropriate staff members. * Collaborate effectively with nursing staff and other healthcare providers to ensure comprehensive care. *Experience* * Previous experience in nursing homes, assisted living facilities, or home care settings is preferred. * Familiarity with dementia care practices and hospice care is highly desirable. * Experience in medication administration is a plus. * Ability to work effectively with individuals with disabilities and provide compassionate senior care. * Strong communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team are essential. * Physical capability to perform heavy lifting and assist clients as needed.
