*Accounting Clerk ? FULL TIME* Established in 1997, ProTool has provided excellent customer service to the heavy-duty tool industry through sales, repairs and rentals of air tools, lifting equipment, torque tools, hydraulic tools, boiler equipment, electric tools and accessories. This busy and growing company has a full-time opening for an Accounting Clerk to work out of their Richmond location. *Duties include:* * Enters bills and received payments * Types invoices * Follows up on overdue accounts * Processes applications for credit * Visa reconciliations * Prepares cheque run, Visa payments and ACH payments * Reconciles freight backorders and corresponding bill payments * Prepares monthly commission reports * Assists sales staff, as needed * Assists with inventory data entry for Richmond branch, annually * General data entry, as needed * Filing *Experience:* * Previous accounting / office experience (minimum 1 year) * Strong proficiency in QuickBooks Enterprise * MS Office skills (Word, Excel and Outlook) *Requirements:* The ideal candidate must be: * Strong in communication skills - both verbal and written * Able to type 60+ wpm with accuracy * Organized * Detail-oriented * Good at multi-tasking * Able to work well independently * Able to work well under pressure * Friendly *Benefits:* * Medical and dental * Friday lunches * Casual dress * Free on-site parking Job Types: Full-time, Permanent Pay: $45,000.00-$55,000.00 per year Benefits: * Casual dress * Dental care * Extended health care * On-site parking Flexible language requirement: * French not required Schedule: * 8 hour shift * Monday to Friday Application question(s): * Do you have experience using QuickBooks?
