L0J1C0 *General Description:* A light duty cleaner is generally responsible for cleaning tasks including but not limited to, dusting, vacuuming, dry and damp mopping, full cleaning of washrooms and kitchenettes, and the collection of garbage and recycling. *Responsibilities:* * Cultivate a culture that promotes inclusion, innovation, productivity, and collaboration. * Build strong relationships, listen intently, and utilize clear & transparent communication. * Sweep and damp mop floors in medical room, nursing stations, clean spa and washrooms in corridors * High and low dusting * Clean and disinfect all surfaces * Clean residents rooms Clean closet, dresser, bedside table and bedrail's; grab bars, vents, chair, window sills, light switches, all walls, pictures, headboard, footboard, telephone, appliances * Disinfect all touch points * Bathroom: Clean mirrors, vents, walls, sink countertop, medicine cabinet and toilet. * Remove garbage, replenish paper, soap. * Disinfect all touch points * Sweep and damp mop floors in T.V. room, public washrooms, laundry room, nursing station and spa * Replenish paper, remove garbage, clean and disinfect chair and tables, sink, countertop * Deep cleaning in residents rooms (follow schedule) * Clean walls, doors, window sills in corridors. Clean custodian rooms *Requirements:* * Must be able to take direction, to work with minimal supervision, and to function cooperatively as part of a team. * Attention to detail, a pride in delivering excellent service, organization, and high levels of energy and endurance. * Ability to use cleaning tools and equipment. * Dependable and have reliable transportation. *Must be able to pass Criminal Background Check* GDI Services (Canada) LP is committed to accommodating applicant?s with disabilities up to the point of undue hardship during the recruitment, assessment and selection process.
