Job details
Education: Registered Apprenticeship certificate. or equivalent experience. Work setting: Millwork/pre-fab shopwork. Tasks: Read blueprints, drawings and sketches to determine work requirements. Measure, cut, shape, assemble and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel and other materials. Fit and install windows, doors, stairs, mouldings and hardware. Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses : Carpenter Trade Certification. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Bending, crouching, kneeling. Combination of sitting, standing, walking. Personal suitability: Accurate. Client focus. Efficient interpersonal skills. Judgement. Reliability. Team player. Values and ethics. Punctuality.
