We are currently seeking a *licensed* *310T Truck and Coach Mechanic* with a great attitude who wants to join the Grace Team! The ideal candidate will have a strong background in diesel engine repair and maintenance and will be responsible for diagnosing and repairing mechanical issues, performing routine maintenance tasks, and ensuring all vehicles meet safety and compliance standards. *Position:* Licensed 310T Truck and Coach Mechanic *Hours:* 11 am -7 pm Monday - Friday & 7 am - 2 pm every other Saturday *Wage:* $42 (licenced) *Requirements:* * Licensed 310T or 310J Mechanic * Strong understanding of trucking operations * Clean Criminal Search * Valid driver?s license * Positive attitude and able to work in a team environment * Knowledge of safety procedures and practices necessary while operating or repairing vehicles and equipment * Must have necessary tools * Time management and strong organizational skills *Responsibilities:* * Perform preventive maintenance, conduct annual safety inspections, troubleshoot, diagnose failures and perform necessary corrections * Complete all service sheets, work orders and safety paperwork in a timely manner * Inspect various parts of vehicles to ensure they are in the proper condition to operate and meet safety and compliance standards * Ensure records are completed accurately and on time * Follow company policies and procedures while performing work * Utilize personal protective equipment as required * Maintain order and cleanliness of tools, equipment and shop * Assist with other duties as needed *We offer:* * Company paid health, dental and health care spending account from day one * Company paid retirement plan from day one * Employee assistance program * Life insurance * Work Boot Allowance and uniforms * New equipment and technology * Social events such as monthly lunches and holiday meals _*We thank all applicants, however, only those selected for an interview will be contacted.*_ _Grace Transport is an equal opportunity employer that is committed to employment equity.
